Freezer Paper Stencil

Not wanting to let this beautiful Freezer Paper artwork go to waist on it, I have purchased some green fabric for side panels. More to come after I finish the bugs nap roll for school..........

Ottobre Design

In the process of making the Boy some pants from the January '08 issue of Ottobre Design.
These pants are cute to boot, but they have 10 pieces! 10! And I have to somehow figure out how to adjust the size to fit a 2 year old with an 8 year old waistline.Which brings me to why I am making his pants. It's not really out of luxury, like most of what I make for Bug. The boy NEEDS pants. BAD. Right now his best fitting pair are a 7 year old short. they look like bermudas on the boy, so it works out. But Fall is coming and he will need something that looks good and fits well. The simple pants I made for him last week look too much like girl yoga pants.

Hoodie for me!

Knit Picks Delft Heather
Alexandra Hoodie from the current Knit Scene magazine
Alexandra Hoodie has ben cast on, first 6 rows complete! Lovely color...Delft Heather from Knit Picks. It's blue...no, wait it's purple...indygo! blue jean! Using a step up in needle size, probably should do 2, but I don't want the stitches too loose.

In planning and sewing the kids back to school clothes, I'm going to include this one for the Bug. Hopefully there will be enough yardage left for Bean to have a cute little dress or top out of it, too!
